Panelled Pitcher - $30.00
This is one of my favorite forms of pitchers....love the six panelled sides. This is an old crockery pitcher with a warm brown outside glaze and a crackled white glaze on the inside. It has a chip on one side of the rim...sorry about the blurry photos (my camera doesn't do closeups, I guess!). But if you turn that side to the back, it makes a great shelf piece. I'm not all that interested in perfect or flawless, so it doesn't matter to me! I guess if I was planning to use it to serve beverages, it would, but as a decorative piece, it's great the way it is. The chip is an old one, so it's not "raw". The pitcher measures 7 1/4" tall and 8" across from handle to spout (which is not chipped as is most customary. So, you could use this pitcher to serve liquids in, actually!!) No cracks or chips anywhere else.
