Redware Creamer and Sugar - $55.00
This extraordinary cream and sugar set is made by Joel Huntley in Wisconsin from lead free redware clay. The slip design on the surface is called "mocha tea", also known as tobacco spit or dendritic (tree-like)design. The colors are gorgeous in greens and browns on a mustard yellow crackled background. These pots are safe to use everyday and can be put in the dishwasher. The sugar bowl measures 4 1/2" across and is 4" high to the top of the knob handle on the cover. The cream pitcher is 4 3/4" tall and and 4 3/4" wide, including the spout and handle. Elegant, yet primitive as well.
