Homespun Drawstring Bag - $15.00
I made this homespun bag to fill a particular need. Santa always has trouble fitting everything into a stocking hanging off the keeping room mantel. We usually arise Christmas morning to find the stockings bursting at the seams and stuff that wouldn't fit sitting on the mantel shelf above them and even on the hearth below!! So I fashioned these primitive bags with a heavy jute drawstring to hold it all!! Each person had a different color homespun and each bag sported a manila tag with the lucky recipient's name. Wish I had remembered to take a picture before we all tore into them, but you can just imagine how festive they looked!! Now I've discovered that they work great as holders for lots of stuff....potatoes and onions in the buttery, small laundry bags to hang off the pegrack in the bathroom or to take to the beach when we're looking for treasures. This particular one measures 19" tall by 13.5" wide and is a warm brown with old red stripes, but I can make them whatever size and color you require.
